LCHA Open Horse Shows

LCHA offers an Open Horse Show the first Saturday of each month except January, July, and December.  Shows are open to riders of all disciplines and skill levels.  Novice classes are offered.  Members who compete earn points and are eligible for year end High Point Awards.

A registration form (show bill) is required for all show class entrants.  The Registration Form is available at the show or may be downloaded here.  The form opens in a new browser window so you do not lose your place here.  Completing the form before you get to the show will save you time on show day.  A separate registration form must be completed for each horse/rider combo.

CURRENT PROOF OF NEGATIVE COGGINS IS REQUIRED FOR ANY HORSE BROUGHT TO THE LCHA ARENA, EVEN IF NOT COMPETING.

Entry Fees for classes are:

          Members: $5 per class
4H with current membership card: $6 per class
          Non-members: $7 per class
Fun Class and Exhibition Classes: $2 per class

Classes include Halter, Gaited, English, Trail, Western, Obedience, Reining, and Speed Events.  Lead line classes are provided for children.  Proper show attire and tack is required at every show.  Exceptions may be made at the judge’s discretion.  We strongly encourage the use of helmets.  LCHA reserves the right to combine classes, cancel classes, or otherwise adjust the class list if needed.

PARKING

In order to accomodate as many horse trailers/cars on the arena grounds, LCHA asks that you park your trailers according to the diagram shown below. If you have any questions please contact any of the LCHA Officers or Board Members ahead of time.
